It-First: You just wasted a fire hot cup of coffee in the key clockwise. How can you save it? Version2 prepare you to provide first aid. By Jesper Stein Sandal Followjespersandal Thursday, March 15, 2012 - 14:31
Every day sitting millions of office workers in front of PCs and teetering dangerously with cold and hot liquids in the vicinity of the keyboard. And every day things go wrong because of fumbling fingers, collapsing paper piles and gravity.
If you have spilled tap water, so the risk of a short circuit is not as great as if you spilled coffee, according to a Czech study has an electrical conductivity that is 40 times larger than the tap water at the same temperature.
Clean tap water is a poor conductor of electricity, and it is why you will have a strong impact, if you lose a toaster in the bathtub because power choose the best looking, and the human body is far better than the water in the bathtub.
Coffee with milk is even worse black coffee, un ange as the milk itself is even more conductive, and for example, six times more conductive than coke. And a light-soda also has a slightly higher electrical conductivity than a sugar-based soft drinks, because the light-soft drinks typically contain the substance E339, E338 which, together with contributing to the conductivity.
It is a common misconception that sugar would increase the risk of a short circuit, but sugar does not contribute to the conductivity. In turn, the paste, and this may cause problems when the keyboard rail.
After disconnecting power to the keyboard, you can prevent the liquid to come in, from spreading further. Turn the keyboard upside down so the keys facing un ange down. That way you get help from gravity.
Dry while gently as much of the liquid with absorbent material like paper towels or cotton wool. But do not take the hair dryer in use already. You risk for blowing the moisture further into the corners of the keyboard.
There is also divided on whether un ange cold or hot it is most effective to dry wet electronics. You can find guides that recommend dry electronics by putting the equipment in the refrigerator for a few hours at a time, take it out for about 15 minutes and put it back again.
Others recommend putting the equipment in the sun or under a lamp. In any case, it is important to be patient. There are many places, the liquid may accumulate where it takes time for it to evaporate again, and therefore should get the equipment to dry for at least two days before moving on.
If you spill liquid un ange like soda, coffee with sugar, fat pizza or anything else that can be difficult to remove, so be sure to separate the keyboard apart and clean it before putting it into use again.
It is also here that you can really see if the keyboard stand to save. Certain types of keyboards, even those that do not have built-in protection against wet accidents are quite hardy and easy to clean. Others may be almost impossible to disassemble without special tools.
Cleaning the Sticky Keys is best done by removing the individual keys, if possible. Most keys are designed to be disassembled and reassembled, but it may require a few tries before you find out exactly how the keys on your particular keyboard needs to be removed.
The keys can be cleaned with warm water with a little soap and rinse shallow afterwards. Wiping the keyboard and the electronics should be done carefully with a damp cloth. Let the keyboard dry well afterwards.
When the keyboard is dry, there is nothing else to do than to try to turn it back and see if it works. Test all keys and if the individual does not work, then let the keyboard dry a little longer. If they still do not work, so the keyboard is kaput.

What you need to do is unplug, rinse the keyboard thoroughly (you may want. Give the keys a trip with detergent and washing brush, they penetrate safely to it - followed by a rinse) and put it to dry a few days.
I would recommend that you wait to rinse until at least have separated keyboard un ange apart and can make sure that only the plastic and not electronics that come under the tap. I did test key clockwise. :)

Yes, I have also used. You just have to be a little cautious and either work for only short periods of time on a certain part of the keyboard or turn the heat off. Certain types of plastic softens at low temperatures amazing. un ange :)
