Ice fishing decoy carver and 1990 Michigan Heritage Award winner Dave Kober writes the MSU Museum Michigan Traditional Arts Program staff to say he has launched a newsletter ( The_Wooden_Fish_Gallery@mail.vresp.com ): "Howdy Folks! Just a quick note to let you know that my shop is open for the season! Just 10 miles south of Cadillac, MI, on M115, you can't miss us - just keep an eye open for the BIG fish out front (:  Stop by, stay for a while and see what's new this year. I've been busy this past winter so there's plenty to choose from - but come early while the pick of the catch are still available!  Life has been a wee bit busy since a great article appeared in Field and Stream Magazine!
