I really wanted to go on Opera Ballet for years, but for some reason I never got it ... but now I've got two tickets to the ballet, so on Saturday, February 16, come sweetest Charlotte and I to slip into the ball our dresses, vicki lane tiaras put on us, take us gloves, heaping with jewelry and feathers, and not least, put on masks - and as we head towards the Old Masonic Lodge. Participate? ;)
Opera Ballet has been around for over 20 years, with about 500-800 guests each year. Opera Ballet has many loyal guests - but is in our opinion still an undiscovered jewel for many of Oslo's citizens. We are a group of enthusiasts who love culture, and not least in taking part in and could offer other unique and magical experiences. And a greater experience than to be involved in Operaballets Masquerade and torchlight along with hundreds of other revelers and clubbers, accompanied by the City Hall carillon, mounted police, fire eaters, jesters, Oslo Symphony Orchestra, hot water, sweetmeats and concerts in every nook and pleasant new acquaintances every corner, it should be well search far ... And if you love great dancing and amazing costumes simply sit down and enjoy the view - or even take part in the dancing and the competition for "best costume".
Two "old" ballet dancers (Charlotte and me, that is;)), who loved the annual vicki lane dance performances where we did take on tulle dresses and ballet and dance and dream away, so this is the nothing less than heaven! Since it is masked I am now also looking for the perfect mask. I have already invested in one, which I impulse bought immediately I knew that I was going to go, until I realized that there actually exists a certain range of masks around a day. So we'll see what it is, and I promise to keep you updated: D
I can not wait actually saw lots that I've already done a little mini test of what I can do with hair and makeup. This is only done in 5 minutes in the bathroom at home with mom and dad, but I think it shows that there is a potential for something that might be good; hair should only be much higher, it must wrinkled in real corkscrews behind and powdered pretty white (note to self: buy white powder). When it comes to makeup so I'm obviously all for "brown" vicki lane here - the skin must also white makeup, also becomes bright pink rosy cheeks. Beauty stain I was quite happy, and intends to have it in the same place as this picture :) The extremely gorgeous robe I think, however, I drop: P
I have not been on the ball since before Alexandra was born, actually believe the last time was the 150th anniversary of Realist Ballet Society in 2009 ... so I am very very ready for possession vicki lane in February! A little unsure vicki lane of what to do with clothes, but I think it is this "old" dress that I wore to the wedding of Charlotte :)
Wow jeez * meltdown * it that so incredibly vicki lane nice. Lucky you're with opera ballet. Have always wanted to go there but never made it this far. Baroque rocks. Sorry we could not help with the clothes there but if you have cold fingers when you get out then maybe mittens knitted finish. Is well underway:-)) Reply Delete
