I agree. It's understandable that they want to deter cybercrime, but with so many harsh laws we see unexpected consequences.
I would be seriously concerned about the wording of a law proposing such harsh sentences for anything, let alone cybercrime. Could have some scary consequences, considering they haven't even figured out how to legalize hacking for security research purposes.
Wow. I didn't know about this. I've been using Chrome for awhile now (as IE and I rarely agree) I wonder what it would take to get these average joes to update their systems. If it's ease of use or whether people just don't care until they are personally effected.
